A daily ritual, read from your own sky.

FESTER is a daily Vedic Moon ritual app for iPhone. It reads your chart and today’s Moon to give you one intention for the morning and three questions at night.

The Moon above is today’s, worked out in your browser for this minute.

तिथि

Thirty days in one turn of the Moon.

Each day the Moon moves about twelve degrees away from the Sun. Each twelve degrees is a tithi, a lunar day. FESTER begins every morning from the tithi you are in.

दिनचर्या

Two minutes in the morning. Three questions at night.

Morning

Today’s lunar day, and one line written for your chart. Say it out loud.

Kept

One small act, sized for the morning. Mark it kept. A rest day keeps your count.

Night

At sunset the page turns indigo. Three questions close the day.

Check-in

How you feel. One thing you are grateful for. Tomorrow’s intention, held for you.

The Today screen at morning: the Moon in its tithi ring, Krishna Tritiya in Devanagari, and the line “I let the quiet of this morning set the pace for my day.” Today's practice, marked as kept, with the evening question “What do you want to notice today?” The Today screen at night in indigo: “I did enough today. I let myself rest,” and three questions for tonight. The evening check-in: how do you feel, what are you grateful for, and tomorrow's intention.

The 27 nakshatras in a ring, with the Moon's star for today marked.

Your own star comes from your birth time, not from today.

नक्षत्र

Where the Moon was when you arrived.

Give your birth date, time and city. FESTER finds your birth star, one of 27 nakshatras, and the dasha period you are in now. Each morning’s line reads from them.

The birth star reveal: Rohini, with the ring of 27 nakshatras and a short description of the star.

सङ्कल्प

Hold one intention through a whole Moon.

Name what you are calling in. FESTER sets it on the real Moon in four phases, so you know when to begin, when to act and when to let go.

  1. PrepareFrom the new Moon. Get ready, quietly.
  2. ActAs the Moon grows. Take one real step.
  3. ReleaseAfter the full Moon. Loosen your grip.
  4. ReflectInto the dark Moon. Notice what shifted.
The Intentions screen: “A role where my voice is heard,” with Prepare, Act, Release and Reflect dates on the real Moon.

पञ्चाङ्ग

Every Ekadashi, every Purnima, every festival.

This is the real month, worked out on this page. Choose a day to see its lunar day, and the small ritual FESTER sets for a festival.

  • Purnima, full Moon
  • Amavasya, new Moon
  • Ekadashi
  • A festival

The lunar day shown is the one in force at 6 in the morning, your time. The app reads it at sunrise in your city. Festival dates come from Drik Panchang and run through 2028.

The chart frames an intention. It never predicts an outcome.

  • No forecasts. FESTER never calls a day good or bad, and never says the planets will bring you anything.
  • No invented numbers. When a value is not known, the app shows a dash, not a guess.
  • Your words stay yours. Delete your account inside the app, and your reflections go with it.

The ritual is free. Plus goes deeper.
